Books and more books ... we need more books. Read to Grow has distributed thousands of new and gently used books to children throughout Connecticut. Many of these books were obtained through book drives, involving friends, families, co-workers, neighbors, corporate sponsors and more. By hosting a book drive in your school, neighborhood, office, local community center, place of worship, sports center, and other similar venues, you can help us to reach many more children, sharing with them the joy of reading.

The books you collect should be for babies and children through 8th grade and in good shape, without torn pages or writing in them. Please, no textbooks, encyclopedias or coloring books. Read to Grow will also provide you with free posters and helpful hints on how to make your book drive a success.
