Books for Babies >>

Committed to promoting awareness of the benefits of early childhood literacy, Books for Babies continues to expand its reach and is currently in place at seven Connecticut hospitals. This program provides the parents of every newborn with a new book and literacy guidance.

Books for Kids >>

This program collects and redistributes new and gently used books to children throughout Connecticut. Last year, more than 70,000 donated books were distributed to children in need. Books for Kids facilitates book drives run by schools, churches, community organizations, individuals and businesses and then provides the donations to families, community partners and programs that serve children who may not otherwise have books.
