CT Behavioral Health Partnership

CT Birth to Three"The place for families to call when they have a question, concern or want more information about their Birth to Three services, as well as a resource for Birth to Three providers seeking technical assistance."
CT Oral Health Initiative

COHI is a broad-based coalition of health professionals, business and community leaders dedicated to improving Connecticut's systems for providing oral health care.  This is an excellent agency to call for assistance with children's (and the whole family) dental needs.

CT Parents Plus

The mission of CT Parents Plus is to provide parents with the information and resources they need to feel confident and successful in their role as parents, and to connect families and educators in ways that will enable them to work together as equal and active partners in the ongoing development and education of their children.

CT Trust Fund's Help Me Grow

This is a free service for children ages birth through five years old who may be considered 'at-risk' for developmental or behavioral problems.  While Help Me Grow does not have it's own web site, you can call 1-800-505-7000 for answers, help with questions or visit the CT Trust Fund's web site to find out more about HMG's services and events.

Fatherhood Initiative of CT

The goal of the Fatherhood Initiative of Connecticut is to promote positive involvement and interaction of fathers with their children, with an emphasis on needy children and families.

The Governor's Prevention Partnership

The Governor's Prevention Partnership provides the leadership and resources to assist 387 schools, 249 community organizations, 93 businesses throughout Connecticut in powerful efforts to keep Connecticut's kids safe, successful and drug-free through a variety of programs.

Great Kids Connecticut

Designed for parents with children from birth to eight years old.  The site is devoted to information on parenting, education, and health and safety, and places emphasis on early development, early literacy.

Kid's Health

Nemours Foundation.  Offers extensive articles on childhood illness and health issues, and provides information to parents, children and professionals.

Love & Logic

This web site is dedicated to making parenting and teaching fun and rewarding, instead of stressful and chaotic. Their goal is to provide practical tools and techniques that help adults achieve respectful, healthy relationships with their children through a parenting and teaching philosophy called Love and Logic.
